Yosemite is absolutely stunning and magical. Enough said.
The Road to Hana is absolutely stunning. The drive takes several hours to complete journeying up winding roads into tropical forrest. There are waterfalls, pools, and narrow little bridges all along the way. Hana itself is a quaint little town full of self-run fruit stands, and food carts. When arriving in Hana I felt like I was truly in Hawaii. It was so nice to get away from the resorts, the crowds, and get back into the wild. About 12 miles past Hana is the Kīpahulu District of Haleakalā National Park. The park is home to a beautiful bamboo forest that is magical. The trip to Hana was my favorite experience in Hawaii.
